Random thoughts. Loughman had a good first half nice soft hands and good tackles. McCarthy is mixing the fantastic and the daft together. Some of our kicking has been a little aimless but the Maori are helping us by playing route one rugby but our rucking has been better and our scramble defence has been superb.

Dickson is riding the Maori to help salvage his post Eden Pk reputation.

We'll take it, but would prefer the officiating was a bit better.

He was knocked off his feet and had someone on top of him so couldn't do anything for that one. He also didn't actually go for the ball.

The bite in the Irish tackle has been great, lot of Maoris knocked backwards, if the linespeed is supposed to be one thing that Ireland need to improve I don't think they could live with it.
