We're definitely up against it in these games no matter how well we play. It's probably just human nature, but having watched the majority of the away games in South Africa, the home decisions have been blatant, especially from the TMOs.

Some of them have been pretty wonky, and Ulster were robbed outright.

One thing I am looking forward to is the South African commentators though. Best in the game.

The Georgian ref has been good from what I've seen recently. TMO Jonkers should be ok no?

Don’t know much about Jonker apart from his role as TMO for the South Africa “A” game vs the B&I Lions. There was controversy over him not pushing for a red for Faf de Clerk after some head contact on Navidi, but I actually thought he got that one right.

I’m sure he’ll be fine, it’s not really about anyone in particular, just that home decisions seem too disproportionately favour the home sides. We probably got the rub of the green when they came here.

Does anybody know if any Leinster supporters travelled for this game, either with the Official party or independently?

Umhlanga is the place to go for pre and post match beers. Try to get into the Grill Room in the Oyster Box Hotel, beautiful spot.

Sharks team:

1. Ox Nche
2. Bongi Mbonambi
3. Thomas du Toit (c)
4. Le Roux Roets
5. Gerbrandt Grobler
6. Siya Kolisi
7. Henco Venter
8. Phepsi Buthelezi
9. Jaden Hendrikse
10. Curwin Bosch
11. Makazole Mapimpi
12. Marius Louw
13. Ben Tapuai
14. Werner Kok
15. Aphelele Fassi

Replacements
16. Kerron van Vuuren
17. Ntuthuko Mchunu
18. Khutha Mchunu
19. Reniel Hugo
20. Jeandre Labuschagne
21. Sikhumbuzo Notshe
22. Grant Williams
23. Boeta Chamberlain

Pretty meaty back and lots of pace in backline.

The second row Le Roux Roets is 138kg and 6'8. Should be a fair old scrum and maul battle for our second row duo!

Also how the feck is Ben Tapuai still playing!

Yeesh, we'll be doing well to get a LBP here I fear! Big baptism of fire for McKee & Deeny.
