Fintan Gunne(Scrumhalf/St. Michaels)
Sam Berman(Centre/St. Michaels)
David Colbert(Back Three/Gonzaga)
Ruben Moloney(Fullback/Blackrock)
No backrows. Nice that there's a scrumhalf in there.

Fintan Gunne is a really good prospect. I’d rate him ahead of the other academy scrumhalves at the moment, expect him to be starting Leinster A and AIL straight from school.

Perhaps, the most interesting long-term prospect in schools rugby is the gigantic Alan Spicer.

The second-row forward made quite the impression when coming off the bench against Munster in the interprovincial decider, literally dwarfing those around him.

Incredibly, coming in at around 6’10” and 120kg, he still has another year at the Leinster Schools level.

not too worried about that really, if they are staying in ireland they'll stay in dublin until after u20s.

Spicer is the biggest school boy I’ve ever seen. We’ve never had a pro rugby player as big as that in Ireland and this guy is still only 5th year in school.

It's not how big you are, it's how big your brothers are.

Good to see the website staff getting on board the train. They made the rookie error of not printing his name in ALL CAPS though.

@hugonaut has had him on the radar for almost two years:

Son of a Leinster father and prospect since whenever.

Now, let's leave him alone to make his own mark!

Alan Spicer played for Belvedere today.
He is a massive kid but needs a good bit of conditioning. He put in a few big tackles but seemed to get hurt himself in the process.
He may or may not make it but he will need the space to grow into that huge frame.

The other second row for Belvo was huge aswell, he wasn’t far off Spicer in terms of size, he looked about 6’7

Alan Spicer, still only 16. He’s 6’10 and could potentially reach 7ft.
