I see that Edinburgh have announced a 7 figure deal for the naming rights to their stadium on a five year deal. I know our situation isn't entirely in our hands but I wonder how much we could get for the RDS? That deal is at least 200k a year and I'd be disappointed if we couldn't get more than that. The Accenture Arena? Facebook Field?

Edinburgh done deal with DAM Health - the Dam Health Stadium. Some excellent pun potential - Edinburgh's dam is breached, Dam Busters etc.

Would definitely subscribe, but the lack of a smartTV app and instead having to cast to the TV instead means I’ll likely just stick to the RTE and TG4 (ugh) televised games

If Edinburgh can get that the Barcelona of European Rugby must be able to get at least that....sure 200k a year is loose change, down the back of the sofa money for many of the money washing machines populating the Dublin office blocks........

:D :happy clapper:

Does raise the question though as to naming rights for the RDS, must be some cash in it but perhaps something to do with our arrangement with the RDS boffins. Flog off the naming rights and we can do Munster and buy in a wide range of large lumpy second rows to pitch in and stop the Skelton incidents happening.....

As I understand it a naming rights deal was done for the redeveloped stadium.

That development has been delayed more often than Psyclapse so who knows what the story is now

Thanks, that makes sense. Waiting for Godot on the stadium work I suspect as I am sure budgets and costs entirely different now...

Anyone else have problems with the URC TV feed in the second half? At one stage I was watching footage of the pre-match warm-up instead of the live coverage. Grrr...

53 tries in the first, 6.625 tries per game.
"Are you not entertained"?
Only team not to score a try? The Bulls 8)
Promising start to this new competition has to be said.
Looking at YouTube, I've never see so many fan reviews and live comms especially from downunder.
The interest is definetly on a different level than before.

I think the branding - the URC symbols, lettering etc - is top notch.
