Meh Clapton, like Connery, was never particularly good. He was easily the least talented in Cream (though possibly not the prize arsehole, though to be fair Ginger Baker wasn't a racist as far as I know).

I think Van Morrison was good though, as well as a prize arsehole, though not more recently than maybe 40 years ago. His voice being gone probably doesn't help with his mood.

School uniforms suck. Had exactly that experience when mine started last year. Hundreds of euro spent on largely unworn uniforms too.

You’re wrong on Clapton’s ability, whether or not he was the best or worst in cream he was objectively an amazing blues guitarist. Just turns out that he’s a bit of a racialist and obviously a bit of a thick.

On Uniforms, I think they’re excellent in theory, but they should be more generic and girls should absolutely have the option of trousers.

No of course not. But a grifters gotta grift and the zapper being an arch-grifter in NY was desperate to get her legs under the table down at the UN. That way she could soak them (us?) good and proper later down the track. The 16k plus expenses were an oer-d'ouvre to keep her beak wet whilst awaiting her new job UN doing stuff.

The hapless Coveney and his ridiculous tales have been highly amusing for me, a real highlight.

Read about and was revolted by this. I think the growth in female participation in team sports will be understood retrospectively as one of the major changes of recent years. Which codes are most successful will in part depend on the ability of legacy structures to demonstrate that they can accommodate that change in a fair and respectful way. This incident fails this test, brutally.

I look forward to the occasion when a women's team faced with such conditions refuses to play, and am happy that the Connacht team refused to abide by the omerta they were asked to observe.
