Re: Sevens
I assume GB is the team they play as for Olympic purposes?
Re: Sevens
Yes, though it’s England’s performances that are used for qualification purposes!!!

If you get a chance to see Terry Kennedy's pass for the Conroy try just before half time against Samoa, take it. Brilliant piece of skill

Re: Sevens
Ireland beat Samoa pretty handily with Samoa being unable to cope with Ireland's pace and skill. That means we top our pool and (should) avoid France in the semi-final. Only the event winners will qualify for the Olympics

I love world rugby's commitment to sevens - half the players on the pitch, halve the frame rate in the video feed

Re: Sevens
Clear knock on missed in the lead up to France's first try. Could be the difference.

Re: Sevens
Fitting that Harry McNulty scored the final try, one of the originals seals the deal.

Re: Sevens
First Conroy try, which turned the game back in our favour at the start of the second half, was amazing, how he turned on the afterburners and left the chasers swallowing dust! Wow!!!

Wonderful, on the pitch and on the air. Wonderful is the only description. Well done to the R*T, a great performer. As for Conroy, his speed is awesome!

Re: Sevens
Was Olympic qualification one of Nucifora's goals?
