Gutting that Larmour didn’t find McGrath with that pass. Looked a try if it was hit him. La Rochelle making yards too easily. Need to cut out the sloppy passing and cheap penalties in the second half.

I'd like to see us get Ronger, Keenan, Larmour cutting back inside on angles after 2-3 phases. Have had a few half breaks doing that when their forwards switch off.

They’ve had a man down for 10, given us 9 pennos in first 30 and had a fella who is going through a meltdown under kick offs and yet they’ve not been punished. They’ve evidently figured the ref out a bit towards the end and started coming into it very well. I worry if we don’t break the momentum early then this could get very one way

McGrath passing badly and Ryan carrying sideways away from support is poor.

One area we look to have an edge is the scrum. Shame there’s been so few

I sometimes wonder about Larmour's jinking runs. They make it very hard to resource the ruck, when he goes to ground, cos his teammates haven't the faintest indictation, where he's gonna end up.

That said he did brilliant with his tackle on Vito to help prevent what was looking like a certain try.

Yeah Ryan seems off script abit in that we have lost the ball on two of his carries in the red zone when he didn’t have any support to look for the ball from McGrath - this is going to be very tense 2nd half

Our defence has been outstanding. La Rochelle look really dangerous, we've done brilliantly to keep them out. Very tough second half ahead, feeling of Clermont in 2012 to this one.

Ryan Baird destroyed that maul. Thought furlong took a high shot in there too.

We badly need a score now. Don't want to be going into last 20 behind.

Feels very passive. LR are excellent but we’re doing nothing at all here

Their only major weakness is their propensity to give away dumb penalties. Might (hopefully) make the difference for us in the end.

That's a diabolical yellow. Rolling away and LAR had the ball at the back of the ruck and yet Lowe somehow kept it in? Bullshit.

I’m being flippant but I’d almost sub McG despite the bench option
