Why do our chasers never actually jump and compete? Henshaw excluded that is.

agreed.
thought we were on for a dead cert try before the try line turnover by munster. fair play to them....we are playing well...clearouts are better than usual and some lines our forwards are taking are quality.

TMO must have taken an early break for HT if that sliding tackle from Marshall wasn't even reviewed.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Our first 20 was awful, second 20 much better.
Forwards taking some nice lines off Luke, who has stepped up after a bit of a mare at the start.
Robbie playing really well.
Our defensive lineout is putting pressure on. Should've had another crooked throw call from Brace.
Marshall very lucky not to be carded for that slide tackle too.

We're doing well to soften up their defence with forwards running at pace off Luke.
Then we're varying it a bit and getting joy from the forward wrap move off 9. Have done it twice now and made breaks from it.

Neither scarlets or Cardiff blues could complete a lineout last nightKeith wrote:Are other nations having problems with the lineouts or is it exclusively an Irish thing at the minute?

Munster feed on penalties. We’ve conceded 4 penalties in our own half, that’s been the difference. If you clean up your discipline, you’ll starve Munster of points. They rarely create anything themselves against us.
Biggest threat for us are O’Mahony and Beirne who have been excellent in the breakdown. Tough to keep clearing them out, but keeping them quiet is key for us this half.

Cronin has been a total liability for them. Hope he stays on as long as possible.

It is difficult to fathom how bad Larmour is under a high ball.
Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Annoying because it’s the best he’s been in open play for ages. Nothing can make up for 5 knock one though
Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Beirne has been immense for them. We should be well clear at this point, only for his breakdown work really.
Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
If Brace keeps telling Munster they're offside, why doesn't he penalise them??
Dont Panic!
Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Can't see us winning this from here.
Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Our kicking from hand has been so poor. Giving Munster all the time to clear their lines.

Not sure I can watch anymore of this.....we carry and we make yards everytime but no let's keep kicking it away......

Very tangental point, but Toland makes it almost impossible to watch
