have a feeling munster will win this one, will allow the media to write about their glorious return etc. etc.

Really, that’s a shame. I was hoping to see 2 full strength teams.mildlyinterested wrote: ↑January 19th, 2021, 6:47 pmIt won't be a full strength leinster side at the weekend.munster#1 wrote: ↑January 19th, 2021, 6:33 pmIn fairness if Munster do manage to pull off an unlikely victory against a full strength Leinster then it would not be a stretch to say that Munster have made a return.mildlyinterested wrote: ↑January 19th, 2021, 3:02 pm yeah no a fan either, but just gotta get on with it.

Less excited about this now.
Any idea why Leinster will not be fielding a full strength team?

Nothing pedantic about facts.
Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Ok, note to self, be more careful with posts.
Fun fact, Leinster have not managed to beat a full strength Munster team in the professional era.
Edit: this is not a request for a spread sheet.

Ah come on, was that the first game you watched?
I’ll give you a hint.
He was a first choice international, and at the time was considered one of the best in his position.

It’s probably better if you do the research yourself, at least that way you will remember for future discussions.Oldschoolsocks wrote: ↑January 19th, 2021, 11:52 pmSurely not Barry Murphy?

Or you could try it once in a time. You made the claim that Munster didn’t put out a full strength side against Leinster in the pro era and I don’t think anyone believes you aren’t bluffing.
Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Come on lads, he was a first choice player for Ireland in that seasons grand slam winning team.
There are only 15 players, it’s not that hard?

I would be very surprised if there were any matches between Munster and Leinster in the professional era where either or both teams were able to field full strength teams - the nature of the game in Ireland and standard injury overhead being what it is

There were actually two first choice players missing from both the Leinster and Munster sides in that game
