leinster really should have rotated a bit more for this.. Sheehan at 2 and a young 9 starting at least.

Molony packing down at 5.

Ropey start from H Byrne.
He needs to learn to calm down a bit.

Poor try to concede there. Frawley giving away the penalty despite the referee screaming at him to stop, decent maul defence but the back line seems to switch off and get so narrow that the Blues effectively had two men over.

Brilliant stuff from Tracy. A hooker on hooker race to the line and he smoked yer man!
Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Harry Byrne having a poor game. Certainly not a warmup for a potential test debut next weekend.
Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
No chance Harry Byrne will be involved in an Ireland match day squad next week, even if he was playing well here. They’ll stick with Burns / R. Byrne.
Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Not the procession that we thought it would be after first minute. It's a crazy loose game which is playing into Cardiff's hands.
They are making a mess of the breakdown and we don't look controlled at all.
Need to tighten things up a bit and go through phases.

Knowing the Leinster coaches they’d start the same team next week regardlessmildlyinterested wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 5:17 pm leinster really should have rotated a bit more for this.. Sheehan at 2 and a young 9 starting at least.
Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Regardless of how he is performing here - talk of H Byrne getting capped next week we’re way premature. Just like they are for Casey and Healy in Munster. They’ve no portfolio to back up international caps. Baird at least has a couple of Heineken caps.

If you haven’t played Heineken cup you shouldn’t be getting capped

Thought that was the obvious, the pro14 is unchallenged for Leinster our academy starting 15 would probably win most games. You have to at least be playing well in European cup games to be considered for Ireland.Jonny tight lips wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:18 pm If you haven’t played Heineken cup you shouldn’t be getting capped

Couple of letoffs for Leinster this half, in danger of becoming a tight game if they can convert something in the next 10 mins or so. Line out also beginning to struggle.
Scrum and maul are both big positives (though Cardiff just hooked their tighthead who was a bit of a liability). Scrappy for sure for the last while anyway.

I’d absolutely pick Luke Rhys and Tracey against Georgia - not necessarily to start. All play in areas where there are questions over incumbents and all are playing well

Leinster are rattled
Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Baird, Keenan and Connors have 1 game a piece in the HC, and that was in a poor display against Saracens. Not sure what you make of that?Pilotman123 wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2020, 6:22 pmThought that was the obvious, the pro14 is unchallenged for Leinster our academy starting 15 would probably win most games. Just because a post upsets you, that doesn’t mean that it is wrong. People have different views in all aspects of life, this is a key ingredient to an interesting conversation.
