Would be great if Baird, Furling or Cronin we’re to be involved this week. Interesting to see if Frawley is available too.

That's excellent news.

So we're possibly looking at:

Dooley, Tracy, Bent, Baird, Toner, Murphy, Penny/Leavy, Ruddock, Luke, H. Byrne, Kelleher, Frawley, ROL, DK, JOB
Cronin/Sheehan, Milne, Clarkson, Molony, Penny/Leavy, HOS, Hawkshaw, Turner

Once again, that pack looks very good for this level.

Great team, I’d say they might have Fardy in 23 to give additional cover to Leavy for the back row and I’d hate to see BS miss out altogether

Not sure who Edinburgh have available at the moment in the front row but they're usually one of the stronger scrums in the Pro14. The week after against Cardiff may provide a better chance to give Bent a rest.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Yeah. I presume they have planned for it but it will be a big ask of Clarkson.
At some point, Porter will need a rest too. It's all getting a bit threadbare.

But, sure, begorrah, isn't Nucifora great?

Any chance they could pull HB from this one as a precaution.

They could well do. There's a chap up in Ulster who has a few caps too.

Nice settled side again. That's a crazy good pack for a Pro14 game like this.

We clearly don't trust some of the younger academy backs as we've gone for a forward at 23 a lot over last few games.

Another big opp for Turner though.

Aside from Turner and Hawkshaw. And some young recent graduates.

We eased Leavy back with a 6:2 split. Now we are easing him into a start and easing pressure on Baird on his return too.

Really interested in how the backrow balance works.

You missed the part where I said 'some' there Ronk.

The likes of O'Sullivan, Silvester and Smith is who I'm referring to.

Actually it will be interesting to see how Turner goes with so many playmakers around him. He'll be our main ball carrier, which should suit him.

Edinburgh topped their conference. This is a tough match.

There are 7 players from 10-15 + 22, 2 are experienced. Thatsshowing a lot of faith in our young players. As I said the 6:2 split is about Leavy more than about faith in uncapped backs.

I don't think Leo has enough faith in them that he'll give them a chance this international window under current circumstances.

I'm not saying we're not showing faith in young players at all.

I'm saying we clearly don't have faith in the last few academy backs available at the moment.
