Cardiff City Stadium being heavily rumoured. Date is Saturday June 20th 2020. Don't think it has been announced officially by the Pro 14.

I love the way they word that.

"In the ten years it’s been up and running, the final has only been played in Ireland or Scotland, with Glasgow’s Celtic Park the setting last weekend."

Not mentioning that for 6 of those years it was held in the ground of the team that topped the league (Bar 2013 when Ravenhill was being redeveloped.) And since then the WRU have held (usually monster truck) events that precluded the pro12/14 from using the Millennium.

"we never tried to host it until now" does sound a bit worse to be honest. Or "we waited until others took the risks to see if it would be worth it for us". Nah, not a great selling point either.

But they aren't lying, that's the important bit.

Have made a booking for Cardiff for June myself. Some availability still in the likes of Ibis, Jurys and Premier Inn.

Yep easy to get to but fills up quickly must be a lot of monster trucks fans around ?.
