Home semi confirmed.

This one should be a belter.

Toulouse are an immense side, but I think with Johnny, Toner & Henshaw hopefully back we can take them.

Leinster vs Toulouse, ERCC semi 2019 Lansdowne Road

Fantastic performance to pull a win off in Paris with only 14 men for 60 mins. Zeebs, Russell and Thomas are brilliant players, but are also defensively flaky, IMO.

Two home games now to prep for this one.

Will be interesting to see how Leocaster select.

I wonder might we go with the second stringers against Treviso and play a full side against Glasgow the week before to tune up.

Need to get guys like Lowe, Sexton etc some game time.

What a super match up. The two top European clubs in a semi in Dublin in May.

I'd agree, but I don't think I'd drop Byrne.
Depending on form & fitness I'd go with

Healy, Cronin, Furling, Ryan, Toner, Ruddock, SOB, Conan, McGrath, Sexton, Lowe, Henshaw, Ringer, Byrne, RK
Byrne, Tracy, Porter, Fardy, Deegan, HOS, Byrne, Larmour

Tough on JGP but I think Fardy and Lowe for this one.
We could also see Fardy at 6 and Rhys at 7 to combat their pack. Will really miss the pace of VDF and gamebreaking of Leavy though.

Absolutely delighted! Will be my first time home from Canada with a game on in the Aviva. Very unfortunate timing previously, but always manage to get a game or two in when home, but this will work out great. Couldn't be more excited. C'mon Leinster!

Without Lowe we can be quite predictable - that doesn't mean its easy to do anything about what we do, but it can be a negative. Lowe adds an element of chaos and unpredictability in attack. That can be a disadvantage without the ball sometimes though. Personally, I'd always pick him where possible, but I can see why the coaches don't

I am seriously -- and I mean *seriously* -- angry with LRSC for texting the result of the match. Had it pre-recorded with a view to watching it 'blind' as it were.

Tis on Channel 4 according to the eprc site.

We've got a big break today. We smashed Toulouse with almost the same team only 2 months ago.
Team that day:
15. Jordan Larmour, 14. Adam Byrne,13. Garry Ringrose, 12. Rory O’Loughlin,11. Dave Kearney
10. Ross Byrne 9. Luke McGrath
1. Cian Healy,2. Sean Cronin ,3. Tadhg Furlong ,4. Scott Fardy ,5. James Ryan, 6. Rhys Ruddock (captain)
7. Josh van der Flier,8. Jack Conan
Replacements:
16. James Tracy, 17. Ed Byrne,18. Andrew Porter, 19. Ross Molony, 20. Max Deegan , 21. Jamison Gibson-Park
22. Noel Reid, 23. Conor O’Brien.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

It'd be tough on Adam Byrne and Dave Kearney but I'd say Lowe, Larmour and Rob Kearney are our best back three and that we should aim to pick them when possible.

Otherwise there isn't much we can or should change up except for players returning from injury, Sexton, Toner and particularly Henshaw will make a massive difference is he gets fit. The main question is in the backrow where SOB is really struggling. I'd give him a game against Treviso and see how he does, if he doesn't fire there we need to look at someone else, probably Ruddock but maybe Deegan or even Penny. If Dev gets back then Fardy could be an option at 6.

I actually think Byrne is a more potent weapon than Larmour at the moment. He's in great form this season and really delivering in the big games.

His aerial ability and ability to step back inside is very useful.
