As Roscrea had won the league, I was wondering why they are considered underdogs?

Terenure's pack noticeably bossed, Thornton was a standout at 7 though.

Brewer and Dardis were good, but didn't get the ball enough for me.

Moloney and Sean O'Brien were great for Roscrea, pack bossed the game and backline were solid if unspectacular.

Lots of mistakes in both games but two great Senior Cup ties so far. I think Rock will run away with it versus Kilkenny though. I've a bad feeling the Cup is going to Rock again. :(

There'll be some glum faces at the Bear family dinner on Sunday!

Glad there was a good turn out, though.

Thought Brewer was poor enough at fault for first Roscrea try doesn't back himself always looking to off load and should carry more. Dardis was good in spades but made a few errors, Madigan and O'Neil were very good for Nure. I wouldn't have changed 4,9 & 10 for Nure.

Roscrea were very good in the pack and back row were excellent backs were average at best but defended well.

Lovely day great pitch Nure can have no complaints they didn't use their weapons enough.

3 lads who left Newbridge for Nure must be fairly sick. Ironic how things work out in the end you really couldn't make it up. Plenty of other lads moving schools to so called better schools don't blame the players but don't agree with the practice!

I said a couple of weeks ago that Nure, specifically their backs, were not good enough to win the cup. I thought it was an anomaly that a much smaller Belvo pack got in amongst it and put it up to Nure but now I see that it was not the case. The nure pack was just get-at-able if you will.

Hum ho. Between Rock, Clongowes and Micks now.

17-0 HT

Blackrock dominating apart from last 2 minutes of game.

too many standouts to name for rock but timoney and loughman are two that come to mind in the pack, really impressed by power and o'hagan in the backs.

been impressed by ridgeway, ruddock and sterling for kilkenny

Not sure what you mean by that. If it's that the Terenure backs weren't good enough to carry their pack, I think yesterday proved your point. If it's that they didn't have a good enough backline to win it [given an equal footing up front in a hypothetical scenario] I'd disagree.

When are they doing the draw?

And What's the betting it will be Newbridge v Roscrea and Clongows/Moichaels v Rock?

Bit of commotion on the Kilkenny sideline when their 12 went off after about 25 minutes with what was supposed to be a blood injury but he wasn't allowed back on bit of a mix up somewhere!

Kilkenny hung in there bette than I thought but result was never in doubt good performance from Rock and that game will stand to them. Favourites will be winner of Fridays match up but Roscrea will give any remaining team plenty to worry about
