Is there a casualty dept near Tullow with experience at treating tank marks?

Jaysus, Enniscorthy put 87 points on Garda today. This is getting beyond sad at this stage.

I actually know a couple of them and they seem bizarrely happy with their lot.Monkstown Phil wrote:You have to feel for the guys taking the field week in week out.Donny B. wrote:Jaysus, Enniscorthy put 87 points on Garda today. This is getting beyond sad at this stage.

Looks about right but Ashbourne are stubborn b$&%@#ds. Really hope Longford get back to winning ways, they have lost three games lately that they could have won.

Have to say I'm not that surprised by Ash turning ye over. They are a limited team (as are most) but have a togetherness that gets them through many a close gamethe spoofer wrote:Monkstown Phil wrote:Ashbourne vs Monkstown - Away by 7

Yeah they played all the rugby while we sat back, a cold night and things just did not go our way, they deserved that one.the spoofer wrote:Have to say I'm not that surprised by Ash turning ye over. Or have they just found their level......... ?
Its seems a very competitive league, with very little between 2nd to 2nd last........
Have all clubs not shipped some injuries ?
perhaps Monkstown are no different and are just not top of Div 1B standard !!

We started the stronger of the two, but all credit to Longford they came back hard. They had great character, we have new management and new personnel that all came in mid season but that is no excuse, the squad is strong we are just taking time getting used to one another. Its going to be an interesting 2nd half to the season.was never late ref wrote:Or have they just found their level......... ?

Couldnt make the game but believe that Longford played great stuff adopting an expansive game. Have to say I was utterly amazed at the result given the home fixture was 9-3. Reports were that the sub outhalf got things moving better to Monkstown, would you agree?Monkstown Phil wrote:We started the stronger of the two, but all credit to Longford they came back hard. Yes Longford were very good, they attacked wider than they did in our first meeting so it seems they have grown as a team, the 10 played centre in the last game if my memory serves me and he was central to their attack. When our sub 10 came on he threw the ball around a bit more for sure but it was defence that let us down, which is odd as we had the best defence in the league up till the last game, now it is the second best, we need to regroup over the Xmas.

Re: Leinster League 2012-2013
Division 1B is certainly hotting up. Tullow will be deserved champions unless something cataclysmic happens but the race for 2nd is wide open with 4 teams in with a chance.
Clondalkin are probably favourites and are in great form winning 5 on the bounce whereas Monkstown seem to be drifting having lost by a big score to Longford at home and now narrowly.
Longford have won 3 in a row following 5 straight losses but are away at Tullow this week.
Carlow and Ashbourne have been cut adrift and look doomed.

Forget Lansdowne Road, all roads lead to Clondalkin next Sunday for winner takes all match between Clondalkin and Longford.
