Well well well... my hibernian friends, approaching this game with 10 points against your 8 in the HCup standings makes us a whole lot more ... serene than last time.
Will still be helluva game though, as always.
Whaddya think ?

Jaunard, there's no doubt that you hold a massive advantage now. ASM have looked excellent in their 2 games and despite winning our games, already we will be looking at the possability of getting a best runner up spot. I don't think Clermont can be stopped now unless we win over there, which is quite unlikely.

We may pull off a great escape Houdini style though and then who knows, perhaps see you back in Dublin for the final? :D

A lot of rugby to be played between now and then, but definitely a well deserved advantage ASM, by far the best team over the first round of games.

Munster v Northampton (2010??)
If we get to the QF I would prefer not to have that scenario :)

Clermont look really unstoppable at the moment. Leinster could get a bonus-point hiding in France if they're not careful. Really think Leinster are looking at one of the best runner-up spots to get through this year - even Shane Horgan said that, an ardent defender of Leinster in the media. He also said that Clermont were his first choice to the H Cup this season.

It's about 4 or 5 seasons since a full strength Leinster side conceded a bonus point as far as I know. They will probably win but a BP hiding? Not sure about that.

Spot on Dan. Probably the game in Toulouse in November 2007.

We've come a long way since that day though :D

On the plus side, hopefully they can't maintain their form all the way to Christmas and hopefully (with injuries allowing) we can hit a sharp peak around Christmas in time to navigate our way out of the group.

Some of the rugby we played against Cardiff was the best I've seen from us in a long time. The pace and intensity was scary...

That was the first starting 15 this season that resembled anything like a proper HEC starting 15...obviously once we were 40 points up and only half way through the game and cleared the bench, the standard slipped...

Was saying that more in reference to talk of of Clermont bonus pointing us than Clermont not being/playing great.
But they still had roughly 75% of first choice fit pack starting and a 3/4 line of a Lions test fullback, 2 all blacks, France's outside centre and a guy Fiji want but wants to qualify for France, plus 6 regular starters to use off the bench. And Biarritz are pants without Yachvilli and Harryordinary, Blanco had to have Yachvilli dropped from french squad last year to play them to stop them being relegated!

Playing under a big rain without 80% of our first choice. The target was to beat Biarritz with that weather, they have done it great. Cotter understood that we can't win the H-Cup by playing a full rugby game each week. We are now able to restain the game and not to waste to much energy.

Without Domingo, Kayser, Zirakashvili, Hines, Cudmore, Bonnaire, Chouly, Vosloo, Parra, James, Malzieu, Nalaga, Sivivatu, Buttin, Fofana or Floch in the strated team, i'm glad that we beat quiet easily Biarritz team... Especially after 2 weeks of tiring H-cup features.

Now we are all focused on Leinster double clash, whatever Cotter can say, everybody is focused on that shocking time.

3 planes are already full of supporters for the game only with the interclubs (without all free lance fans).

O'Driscoll out 8-12 weeks. Surgery required to repair ligament damage to ankle.

F**&ck!

Do you think you'll bring 500 fans? 1000?
