I'm kind of a new kid on the block here so didn't want to be presumptuous by suggesting Herbert Park but it's a great spot to meet before matches or concerts in the RDS area. Plus you have the added advantage, if you're into your wine, of having a great French bistro/ wine bar down the road...French Paradox.

Hervé , you're so fast , we have to speak with the other clermont-fans about this, it's not sure ...All the time the montferrand fans well-feed the others supporters and i don't know if we can take lots of food in the plane , and we want to eat irish food !

Lovely idea here, but two things to remember, this is Ireland, the game's in April, it's cold and rains a lot... Also, isn't drinking vino in public places illegal? Now, I'm an angel, and have never done that  but surely a reletively large number of people together in a park will draw attention, and throw drinkies on top of that...

If we could get some sort of 'allowance' or 'permission', it'd be great...

Bonjour Herve,

I have been to pre match picnics with French supporters in the past – all very enjoyable, one in Toulouse took a couple of days to recover from.
I would suggest having your picnic inside the RDS stadium – there is lots of space behind the stand, picnic tables to eat at and shelter from the rain in required.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Bon chance.

Might it be an idea to talk to the Horse Show House? They have a big car park and there is room to go indoors. RDS is a good idea as well.

Wine and cheese?!

Is this not just Knacker drinking?

6 cans of dutchie from spar and a curry chips from the embassy grill may be more appropriate! :D

I'll put a post on our forum to explain i speak with you to find a place to meet you before the match and share this moment.

It seems there are different places where it's possible, we don't know the best because we don't know dublin like you

I'll put on your forum the different possibilities :
St Stephen's Green
Herbert Park
Millwall and West Ham
inside the RDS stadium
