Good places to watch Leinster games in Paris

Post by andyman »

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good place or places to watch Leinster games in Paris, in particular the upcoming Heineken Cup games.

Thanks,
Andyman

Grumpy Old Man, thats one of the advantages of moving over to Paris is that I'll be there to see Leinster retain the Heineken Cup. In fact my accomodation is not too far from Stade de France, handy for the 6 Nations too!

Rogocoko, do you know if those pubs definitely show the HC, I suppose Magners games would be asking too much?

I can't be defo sure.... The Cricketer despite its name is a great little rugby pub... its the "clubhouse" for an expat rugby team over there so theres a high chance of H-Cup being shown.... Kittys is an irish bar so i dont see why the wudnt show H-Cup and if your lucky some magners!

If you live in Paris, maybe give them each one a quick call to save a wasted trip?

Try Coolin, St Germain de Pres - near Odeon Metro stop.

Had the pleasure of watching Ireland beat England in Twickenham there in 2006. You might recall Shaggy's dramatic last minute try... So you could say it has a fine Leinster pedigree!

Au Metro bar in the 15th at Pasteur Metro station on Line 6 is the best place to watch the game in Paris. It's a mecca to the game and should be hopping with Clermont supporters on Friday night. Leinster fans are rarely spotted in these parts...
The future is pink, apparently....Allez Stade
