No bother. Didn't want to miss anything today.
it wouldn’t have been a bad idea to have it as a double header with the Leinster v Sharks match. Next year!

Great idea. Introduce some people to the Club game.
And would cut costs of opening stadium for a second day.
Feck all costs to open up tomorrow and would cost more if in double header as lot of staff would be on site and many unlikely to stay or go early for AIL final
Outstanding final – it has been said before, but a great advertisement for the AIL.
A phenomenal performance from Dooley. I think that's probably the best placekicking performance in Lansdowne Road since it was redeveloped: 11 out of 12 kicks and a 30-point haul [3 cons, 8 pens].
Extremely unusual to see a 50-point performance with 30 of those points coming from kicks. I've never seen it before. It looks like Skehan and the rest of the coaches reinforced to the players that a] they didn't need to get into a mauling contest with Clontarf; and b] we've got a great kicker, this is a cup final, take the shot at the sticks every time it's available.
Delighted for the lads and all down at the rubadub who have done their bit over the years.

Delighted for you Hugo, sounds like it was a great day out
And even RO'G was on the Twitter complimenting Dooley on his kicking.
That was also the Leinster Cup final today, so 'Nure win Provincial Cup & League double and All Ireland Cup & League double. Some achievement for captain Harrison Brewer and Head Coach Sean Skehan.

It was a perfect example of cup rugby. Stay in it when you are under the pump, claw your way back into a lead and then respond when they threaten. Fantastic display by Nure.
it was definitely a closer game that the final scoreline indicates, but Terenure always looked the better coached and more cohesive side, especially in defence.
Crucial and game turning moments of the game were the intercept just before half time (when if Cooney's pass slipped through it was a big Clontarf linebreak) and the three penalties Dooley kicked in the 10 mins after Soroka's try.
Terenure were absolutely full value for the win though.
Fair dos to GT for going behind the success on Sunday to examine how and why Terenure eventually brought home the bacon. He also outlined the recruitment of Jordan Coughlan and how this 'modus operandi' has been the hallmark of building of team to adapt to a changing culture, in this case, making Covid an opportunity rather than a handicap:
