Blackrock into SCT final, defeated Marys 42-15.

Will play winner of Michaels/Belvo, who play today.

It was a pretty extraordinary finale. Should one congratulate the winners on a miraculous final 13 minutes, or merely shake one's head slowly as to how the "Nursery of the Leinster Academy" lost that one? 19-3 ahead with 13 to go and adequate possession is some position to blow!

Wow. Just saw it now. And the dodgey box gave up on me at the final lineout. Came back for the kick.

Really looked like Michaels had too much for them. Repulsed all their attacks for so long. Serious belief to hang in there.

michaels living up to their reputation.

from a leinster point of view Ryan Baird and Scott Penny look like certain future academy players.

would be interesting to see if Leinster try and get Lacey/Grogan away from Dublin GAA.

Over the last 2 Games definitely agree Ryan Baird is a serious prospect. Hopefully he Bulks up over the next few years with out loosing any pace. 10 years of Him and Ryan in the Leinster row please.

Thought Belvos last play to score was quite inventive. Rolling line out mall but it seamed as if there intention was always to go at an angle towards the post to ensure the kick.

quite possible that Belvo side produces no leinster academy players... while Michaels produces 5 or more.

now hopefully for leinster's sake i'm wrong and a few of those belvo lads push on.

Surely Hawkshaw? Or is he going for GAA instead of rugby? Have heard some doubts on his size for the pro game but should be a cert for the academy imo

nah... looks like was grounded and bounced, from the angle can't tell as the grounding arm is obscured by the defenders body

commiserations etc...,

Yeah it does look like a knock on in my eyes, not that anything can be done now though. It’s frustrating since it probably would have changed the game, but still doesn’t excuse the ending.

Mary’s Js into the final, beating Belvo 10 to 7. Looks like they finally have another good year
