Seapoint beaten at home by UCD scoring 94 points (14 tries). Terenure grab away win against mighty Clontarf 24-32, three tries for Tarf but four for Terenure. Lansdowne beat Marys in Templeville by 13-27.
Apparently, not every Senior Club entered the competition this Season. Seems very strange.

Re: Leinster Senior Cup - First Round
No apparently about it. Only 11 of the 20+ senior clubs decided to enter the cup.
When league will be the focus for many and survival for quite a few then they wont enter when likely to be drawn against a 1A side.
None of the 2B/2C sides bar Seapoint and Greystones have entered the cup

Re: Leinster Senior Cup - First Round
Yeah very disappointing from senior clubs especially the likes of Wanderers, Blackrock, Naas, Bective etc who pulled out yet look for friendly's during the break. Fair play to Seapoint & Greystones for entering as if more followed their lead the draw could have been fixed to give lower placed teams a bye in 1st round & home advantage which would at least bring a good bar to the clubs but the fear of losing seems to have won out.ormond lad wrote:No apparently about it.
