Wicklow changing coaches and losing four experienced players, be a very young side this year with bags of potential

I'm really looking forward to start of the league. Division 1B will be really competitive and I haven't got a clue who will be in the top two. I suppose you'd have to fancy Coolmine, Malahide and possibly Wicklow who had a good win over Gorey in the last couple of weeks.

Gorey will get stronger a few AIL players returning to play with them plus Monkstown will be a force and likely favourites

Knockon.ie is closing its eh, doors, sad, great little resource and site for domestic rugby. Just another nail in the coffin, Irfu need to get the finger out.

knockon.ie was a fantastic site that filled the massive void left by those only interested in the elite part of the game. Nobody in the branches or union seems to care about the domestic game though. The Leinster app use to have a domestic section, it doesnt anymore, why? The fact that the union couldn't sponsor the site is evidence in itself that the grassroots means nothing to them. The branches extract their elite from the schools and youths systems. If you haven't been selected, who cares. Rugby is following the American Football model, schools, youths, colleges and professional game all nurtured, maintained and grown. No adult amateur game at all. Thats the future for rugby in this country, what a shame.
Well done knockon.ie, you did your best. RIP.

Leinster Juniors play the Polish champions in Donnybrook on Saturday as part of the Ire/Poland festival week. Might be interesting.
