Top8.ie!!!!! -Website following AIB League Division 1
Good website following AIB League Division 1A if anyone wants to go to one place to read match reports, results, top scorers, appearances and round previews. Hopefully will branch out as the season goes on....

Thanks NR. Although I would presume that Conway was on the wing and Tonetti in the centre.
Still a very exciting looking backline.

Re: Top8.ie!!!!! -Website following AIB League Division 1
that is some backline. i think james power is the oldest in that backline and he's only 23 i think. they also have madigan and darragh fitzpatrick out injured too. amazing to think that 3 of the try scorers are only just out of school. jordi murphy doesn't get as much hype as the other too but he could be a great player, he's built like a pro alreadyNot Releasing wrote:http://www.tribune.ie/sport/rugby/artic ... -round-up/

That's a slight over statement but he certainly has the raw materials.true blue 06 wrote:that is some backline. i think james power is the oldest in that backline and he's only 23 i think. they also have madigan and darragh fitzpatrick out injured too. amazing to think that 3 of the try scorers are only just out of school. jordi murphy doesn't get as much hype as the other too but he could be a great player, he's built like a pro alreadyNot Releasing wrote:http://www.tribune.ie/sport/rugby/artic ... -round-up/

You've also got the likes of Brian Kingston in the 20's too who could make the step up to senior rugby in the next year or 2.
Fitzpatrick played for the 2nds on Sunday.
Madigan will be out till xmas i think.
James Power was poached back from 'Stones this year too. There'll be some scrap for inside backs jerseys this season if all are fit.
Also, good young Flanker in James Ronan is out injured with a cruciate all year

there is a great underage set up in rock with excellent players coming out of school too. James Ronan is a fantastic talent alright. They also have a strong academy that was set up 3 years ago, appears to be working as, i think about 12 of the squad came through it. Would like to see Rock win it as they are playing the best rugby by a country mile, test will be in the depths of winter away from home, which i think they have recruited well to help the cause, alex dunlop, mick carroll etc.
