If you are looking to get back into rugby after a few years out , you want to play rugby at a more "sociable" standard , or you havent played rugby before and are looking to give it a go , Wanderers FC can give you that opportunity.
Wanderers FC is located on the Merrion Road , just 15 mins drive from City Center, and easily accessible by road, bus and dart. The club has excellent facilities , including a fully equiped gym.
Re J4 Season 2009/2010
Wanderers are fielding a team in J4 league and cup this coming season and are looking for further additions to strengthen its squad . The current squad is a mixture of experienced and younger players , from all parts of Ireland and abroad.
The league will commence at the start of October and run through till Feb/March.The J4 Cup will start in March
Re Training/Coaching
Formal J4 Squad training will start on Weds 9 September in Merrion Road at 7.15 sharp. Friendly matches will be played before the league starts in October .
Training will be on Wednesday and either Monday or Friday nights each week , and matches are scheduled to be played on Saturdays.
ALL players who train will play in games .
Socials
The social side of Rugby in Wanderers is very important and there will be social events planned for the season , with a Squad "bonding" session taking place just before the league starts, a xmas party and other various "nights out".
Where possible , matches will be taped and shown on the "big screen" in the club for post match entertainment.
