Account Deletion

Post by [Jackass] »

Hi,

I was wondering if I could permanently close my account, but have content / posts deleted also?

It would be much appreciated and thanks for the use of the forum! :)

Someone, somewhere has taken a screenshot of everything you said and will bring it up at your next job interview.

Haha, yeah I'm moving to Limerick, sooooo.....

Not really. But if it can't be done it's no big deal, I just didn't see an option to close account or whatever on user control panel. I am retiring from the internet.

From being on other boards, I have a feeling that it's not possible to delete posts (even if it was, what about posts where people quoted you?), and that the equivalent of getting rid of an account is to just stop using it.

If you don't trust yourself to stop posting, just click to reset your password and then delete the e-mail that you're sent with your new password.
