Rugby Pubs in Newcastle

Post by glic »

I'm over in Newcastle this weekend when really I should be in Toulouse helping the Trevor Brennan retirement fund in De Danu
Does anyone know a bar in the toon that would show the Leinster game? I posted a question on the falcons messageboard (it's pretty quiet) and got a reply saying that the sports bar near central station might be showing it so I'll probably ask in there on Friday but I could do with a few more suggestions.

That's part of the plan LM. I have always felt an affinity with our downtrodden western friends esp since I started going out with a chick from Galway

Looks like no one on here knows much about Newcastle it probably isn't affluent enough for them. Either that or everyone is in Toulouse I wonder which it is hmmmm.................

Probably both

Glic, i'll see if I can find you a link to the Connacht supporters website - I think a few of them are staying around for the Saturday.

LM thanks for the link but I didn't get a chance to check it out before I left work on Thursday. Managed to miss the game due to a taxi driver who didn't have a clue where he was going and terrible traffic on the way from durham airport to Newcastle. There were a fair few connacht fans on our flight so I hope they didn't miss much of the game. Then again considering the result it might have been better if they did
Found a sportsbar that was showing the game on Saturday WHAT A GAME, WHAT A RESULT!!!!!
