I think Mary has a bit of a thing for our BOD - he got a very enthusiastic welcome :)

Her Oldness is starting to irritate me slightly now. Got searched by the guards as I tried to get by their stupid barricades on my walk from D4 to the Phoenix Park in an attempt to avail of the bus service she just wrecked. The sight of 50-100 of them guarding their silly little fence blocking some side street was just hilarious.

President and friends - as gaeilge.

Thought they could have found a few decent chairs, the conference suite specials were a tad naf!

I noticed the troglodytes in the GAA from up here could not bring themselves to go to Croke Park today with the exception of a representative from Co Down  some people just can't move with the times.

Fair play. Who'd have thought we'd ever hear gaelic from a British monarch

I never thought I would have any interest in the visit, but I have to say that the bits I have watched - the tour of Trinity, the Garden of Remembrance and Islandbridge - were very moving.
Also, it gave me great pleasure to see Cowan, Bertie at al being sidelined
