Former comedian.
Will his autobiography be entitled.
It's No Joke
Somehow this man seems to have tapped into the mood of his countrymen.
May he live long and triumph.

Well done to the Irish Women's cricket team in beating South Africa in a T20 match in South Africa.
I wonder is the captain Gaby Lewis related to former Irish referee (and international cricketer) Alan Lewis?

Re: Friday's Rave
After extensive research (Google) it looks like Gaby’s dad is called Alan and Alan Lewis is indeed an international cricket referee. There’s also mention of another child Robyn who apparently is handy enough at the cricketingRuckedtobits wrote: ↑June 4th, 2022, 8:54 am Well done to the Irish Women's cricket team in beating South Africa in a T20 match in South Africa.

The Queen or her Royal Highness has to be the biggest charismatic tourist attraction in the world right up there with or surpassing even the Tour de Force that is St. Patrick's Day.

That button you can click so you don’t have to read to posts of the “provacteurs”
Note, for provacteur see absolute dope who thinks they’re simultaneously witty and clever.
I love that button!,!

Re: Friday's Rave
Today is a big day in French Rugby. All Top 14 Clubs kick-off their final round of matches at the same time on Sunday night (21.05 pm local). However, one of the most important and hugely followed games has already finished.
The Pro D2 Play-off final is played as a "barrage" among the top 6 teams in the Pro D2 League after 30 fixtures (home and away among 16 teams). This year's Final was between the teams who finished 1st (Mont de Marson) and 2nd ( Aviron Bayonnaise). The game kicked-off at 5,45 pm local time and serves as a precursor to the final round of Top 14 games.
Bayonne have just won the final in Mont de Marson by 20-49, the highest total ever in Pro D2 history and also the highest total by winners. A huge fillup for Basque Rugby as Biarittz Olympique have had a torrid time and immediate relegation from the Top 14.
The Blue & White's Club are back in the big time and their stadium (Jean Dauger) will seek to repel all the top Clubs from August onwards.
