Good to hear they are spoiling her. Her boss is a nice fella - came straight back to me this a.m. on the email.

Ok, let me explain lest ckav's name be sullied further. It is my friend Mary's birthday today and she recently started a new job and ckav knows her boss. I don't because Mary hasn't introduced me yet. Hmmm, I wonder why?

I figure every girl should have a fuss made of her on her birthday, so I asked ckav to help me out having that fuss being made. Cos I didn't have the blackberry with me at the time I thought of this (even I think it's rude to bring it to the dinner table) I texted ckav, but my message was unclear to say the least. Hence ckav thinking I wanted her to post on here as well as contact Mary's boss.Anyway even tho she doesn't even lurk on here, let alone post, you have actually spoken with her TB (she shared a taxi with harry, Flash et al into Ed last week) and I am sure you all join with me in wishing her a very happy birthday!

Quit hijacking my thread on birthdays, the rest of you. I'm at breaking point with all the hijacking and general chatter here these days.. :evil:

Got dragged on to a conference call which happily coincides with my noon-day Sun avoiding nap. Apparently I am not allowed to actually sleep on the call, but provided I say hello at the start and goodbye at the end I can spend the rest of the time on mute loudspeaker posting and drinking cava. It is indeed a tough life!

A dude you say? No wonder an introduction has not been forthcoming...

Not a chance, Tara, he got married in December 04! Much to the chagrin of the Ladies. He's one of the few pieces of eye-candy on display in this neck of the woods...
