Gutted to read this. As someone who grew up with BBC Wales and S4C his commentary is forever etched in my memory. I was always happy to find out he was commentating on a match I was watching. Found him informative and entertaining - a rare mix.

Very very good player and his commentary with Brian Moore was as good as it gets. RIP Lion 601.

Very sad news. He was the voice of the 6N for me. No bullshit with him if a game was sh!t but he was still really enthusiastic and you could tell he loved it even when Wales were losing. A really big loss.
