It's almost like playing Ulster in Ireland was a preferable option to the alternative....
I honestly hope not.

Also want to give a shout out to Niall Murray who was incredible this season. Most line-out steals by anyone this season which is impressive.

Connacht Rugby are pleased to announce the loan signings of hooker Declan Moore and scrum-half Michael McDonald from Ulster Rugby.

The pair will join the province for the 2023/24 season, linking up with the club at the start of pre-season.

So congrats to Connacht, now confirmed in the Champions Cup next year with Glasgow & Toulon competing in Dublin in this season's Challenge Cup Final.

Now Connacht need to recruit the IRFU suit in the URC who compiles the fixture list and ensure that Connacht's September & October fixtures next season include Leinster (A), Treviso (A), Ospreys (A), Stormers (H), Glasgow (H), all teams which provide a significant number of the International players in their respective National teams. This is the only way that the URC can try to provide some balance in Connacht's fixture list in the current unequal structure.

Good luck lads.

Last 4 of the URC and guaranteed Champions Cup rugby is an unqualified success for Connacht next year. More revenue and good reason for casual fans to buy tickets. Nice Legacy for Friend to leave on.

What are you talking about man? The season is not over.
Where's your pride?
No reason you can't beat the Stormers next weekend.
Give it a lash.

Connacht need only do two things:
1. Remember they beat Ulster well last Friday and then re-watch Ulster v Stormers in s/f of 2022;
2. Remind their backs to play as well as the forwards, who are now giving them a stream of ball.

It's definitely winnable and no better team than Connacht to do it.

19 degrees and sunny. Nice temperature mind for late autumn/early winter compared to Ireland!

They really need a top class 10. That was unforgivable. They should try Mack at 10 next year
