Carty having a mare in attack & defence. Stormers defence and tackling in particular really strong.
Re: Connacht 2022/23
Carty would melt your brain at times. Connacht really struggling with Stormers rush defence
Look out Itchy, he's Irish
Re: Connacht 2022/23
How is yer man claiming that pass wasn't forward??
Re: Connacht 2022/23
Lovely try. Really well worked
Re: Connacht 2022/23
Well that tops it off. Wrong decision but 2 pts down the drain
Re: Connacht 2022/23
Carty is letting his team mates down by such a poor performance. His temperament is questionable on the basis of the first half.
Re: Connacht 2022/23
I really hope that conversion fiasco won't matter at the end
Re: Connacht 2022/23
Friend needs to hook Carty now

Re: Connacht 2022/23
As it happens, he had started his run up (one step) before the ball fell over, so a correct call.
But even if he hadn't taken that step, he didn't ask the ref for permission to respot the ball, so when he moved forward he had started his run up so correct call

Farrell and Mack have been excellent. Otherwise it has been grim. Stormers no great shakes in this half

Farrell has been excellent alright, as have Hansen (and Aki). Stormers really are mega-physical on the gainline.

And it would appear that the dumbassery is contagious through human contact!

Re: Connacht 2022/23
Great catch and kick by Carty there in fairness
Re: Connacht 2022/23
Game over. More shite defence. You'd wonder what the ex Leinster lads make of the inattention to detail in their current team?

Re: Connacht 2022/23
And that's why Carty hasn't more Ireland caps: two missed penos to the corner and one blown conversion in the first half and a kick over the dead ball line in the second. Four costly unforced errors.
