Seeing him not being trusted to start at FB is interesting.
He’s lost so much pace he’d have trouble catching a cold…
Sad to see the decline, also sad to see Munster waste so much money extending his contract.

Munster certainly trying to throw this away. Mistakes all over the park and very little smart rugby. Playing this game at 100 mph may suit Edinburgh more than Munster

Is his contract still part funded by IRFU?

Munster don’t score many points on the road, 17 against the Dragons is their peak so far. I know it’s coming up to Christmas but they need to cut out any more presents with Embra scoring 12 already.

I've no idea to be honest, I presume they are paying something. He's certainly at least eating plenty of the food provided by Munster rugby.

Edinburgh are very unimpressive. You'd never think they were at home. How on earth did Van Der Merwe get picked for the Lions test team?

For a team with such a strong defensive record so far this season, Munster’s defending this evening has been really poor.

Joey’s defence for that try was appalling. Hodnett had the guy with the ball well covered but Joey bit in for no reason so Mata was able to waltz past him. He’s had the intercept and then at least three terrible kicks where he was either standing deep or still so had no choice to do anything else. Thought he got rounded far too easily for the first try as well, didn’t look like he was too interested in making the tackle to me. Nightmare stuff tbh.

Munster well in this though, Edinburgh dominant but just haven’t put any distance between them on the scoreboard.

Edinburgh even worse than us at receiving restarts. Their hooker should be hooked for his lineout throws, really well short of the pro standard

Zebo? I thought it was George Foreman for a second, his movement was so slow...

Munster lead and with 3 tries. 1 more for a bonus point which would be very valuable.
