Just as an FYI In April 2020, Zombie became the first song by an Irish band to surpass one billion views on YouTube. As of October 2022, Zombie has been streamed over 800 million times on Spotify, showing just how much of a timeless classic the song is.
Just the 1.2bn YouTube views now. The 6th song from the last century to join the 1bn club.
A great song that we should all be proud of and love hearing it belting out anywhere
I still can’t get past the association with the Warrington bomb. Seeing thousands of gigglemugs belting it out after a feed of pints don’t sit right with me. And the lyrics - it just doesn’t work as a rugby song!

I order them to get a new song.

Maybe doable for an English Championship squad.
Trent Williams (who is a freak) is on $23m/year but there are a few guys not that far behind.
True. But Trent is playing a different sport south of the border than what John Candy was aiming to play. With an extra down to retain possession, fields that are 10 yards shorter and you can't even score a rouge.

Candy's stint as part owner of the Argonauts was a bit of a heyday for CFL. These days Toronto is full of Bills fans.

Given that it's already done for other sports like baseball and ice-hockey I thought they would have found a way to expand the NFL north.

Sad to see that Jerry Holland has passed away at the young age of 66 - his lasting contributions on and off the pitch to Club, Province and Country will be long remembered, and in the case of 2006, where he was manager of Munster, never forgotten

+1
Jerry made an outstanding contribution to Munster and Irish rugby, in the latter role it was as a Manager and mentor. A lovely man. A superb foil for Donal Lenihan on the pitch. Good company and fair-minded in debate and discussion. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends

Met him only once and he was as good a rugby man as you could wish for. That is terribly young.

Munster could be without Frisch for a while as he is due a scan on a thigh injury sustained against SA.
This is a big blow imo, as he looked like he was just the player Munster needed to progress this season.

Hope he recovers soon. Surely Munster will just buy another player. As usual. Maybe a "short term" deal.

I think you re spending too much time watching soccer. Not too many rugby players being bought.
Even more unusual would be a rugby player being bought on a short term deal.

How about this guy if you want a centre: https://all.rugby/player/oli-morris

Or this one to prove its not a one off: https://all.rugby/player/kiran-mcdonald

Or this one to show how unprobable a short term signing is: https://all.rugby/player/john-ryan

Doesn’t look like Munster bought any of those players.
Strange that you think those as examples of players that were.

Would be a serious waste of money when so many players are out of contract already.

I must have been halluicinating about one of the Munster second-rowers in the South Africa XV game in that case.

Our resident Munster poster is just trying to make a tenuous point about the semantics of the word 'bought' as applied to contracting in rugby.

It's classic diversionary behaviour!

I am giving the post the respect it deserves.
It is a clear attempt to have a cheeky swipe at Munster in a troll like manner.

I wouldn’t mind a bit of a cheeky dig, but the poster should at least have ensured that their dig was factual.

Munster may look for another temp signing, but I’d be very surprised if they reached into their fairly shallow pockets to buy a player.

Munster finally catching a break, with arguably one of the best players in the world, Dupont set to miss the Munster v Toulouse match.

Buy the way, all teams buy players. It's okay to say that they buy players. We buy players, Munster buy players, Ulster buy players. There's no need for buy-le.

It is true that Munster buy more players than Leinster buy, and it's not entirely buy the buy. You are one of the first to suggest that Munster buy a player when you think that they need to buy a new players or have an injury in a position where they can buy someone. So you certainly buy into that theory, when it works buy you. If its how everyone talks, it's okay buy me, okay buy others, buy forum menbers, buy fans, buy fans of other sports, maybe it should be okay buy you. Try buying into that.

I hope this doesn't come across by being cheeky, its just a buy product of a wider point.

Buy well
Buy, buy
