Happy with his decision to leave Munster for France's Racing 92 in 2018, the Cork native considered the possibility of one-day joining Leinster - briefly.

"Never, no, no, not in a million years," he stated defiantly.

"No, it would never, never happen. I hate, hate that team. I would love to play them one day when I'm with Racing.

A refreshingly honest endorsement of the inter-provincial rivalry, it is an element of the sport that Zebo loves.

As for those who may not like his full and frank assessment of his thoughts about Leinster: "They can blow-in and blow-out the same way."
Nah, Simon misuse's the word "Hate" I suspect, like a lot of us do.
"I hate sprouts" someone might proclaim at Christmas Dinner for example, but do they really hate sprouts?

He dosen't like us because we are a local rival, a local rival that has kicked his teams ass for generations.
I doubt young Simon truely hates anyone or anything.
not sure if it is harmless rivalry blockhead. it goes beyond the "bragging rights" I associate and enjoy with rugby and leans more into the soccer arena which I don't enjoy. there is an edge to the anti leinster sentiment from munster fans now that is not good for the game. and it's growing the more munster don't win anything.

you witness it a lot at heino finals. I vividly remember munster fans parading around bilbao in 2019 with racing tshirts with Zebos face printed on the back...or the nastiness in marseille before & after the final, down in the habour area, last year.

Most munster fans are sound and we're bound to have a few eejits in our midst but the worst I came across was in a pub (the yard, I think) around the corner from the millenium stadium after we got a proper shellacking from wales in 2019. on my way back from the jax a guy in front of me had a red jersey on and I patted him on the back "congrats on the grand slam" says me....well, he spins around and kicks off about being a munster fan and only supporting the munster players on the pitch.
Treat him as he were a child, for that is how he behaves.

Daly should have really made that tackle.

Toulouse putting Munster to the sword - 8-0 after 9 mins. Doing it well too - bashing up the visiting pack first before going wide.

Toulouse winning the collisions - Carbery, Coombes & Crowley all smashed in the tackle and driven back.

Toulouse playing well but Munster have had zero luck so far. It looks like one of those days.

A combination of huge Toulouse pressure D and poor passing by Munster and this game is only going one way...

Munster have weathered the original Toulouse storm - at one point they were rocking so badly that a Toulouse try would have opened the floodgates, but they've gotten through it

Good try Munster. Poor conversion by Joey.

Pick and jam try for Hodnett. Munster finally get a foothold in the game. Carbery misses the conversion, though. 11-5, 32 mins.

Great steal by John Ryan. Prevented what was looking like an inevitable try by Toulouse at the end of the first half. Following on from what Dave said re weathering the storm, I reckon Munster can be happy only being down 3 points heading to the sheds.

On the basis of that half alone, Farrell should include Ryan & Klein immediately in the Irish Squad Best scrummaging against a French pack for years.

It's a carbon copy of our game yesterday. We'll see what Toulouse are made of now.

That’s a tough penalty. He called tackle as the ball was getting stripped there.
