Is that a selection call of Murray over PP I wonder? Massive one if it is.

Munster
15. Mike Haley
14. Calvin Nash
13. Antoine Frisch
12. Rory Scannell
11. Shane Daly
10. Joey Carbery
9. Craig Casey
1. Jeremy Loughman
2. Niall Scannell
3. John Ryan
4. Jean Kleyn
5. Tadhg Beirne
6. Peter O’Mahony (Captain)
7. John Hodnett
8. Gavin Coombes
Replacements:

16. Diarmuid Barron
17. Josh Wycherley
18. Roman Salanoa
19. Jack O’Donoghue
20. Alex Kendellen
21. Paddy Patterson
22. Jack Crowley
23. Keith Earls
There's a few big calls in there but I think the team is better for it. It looks like Rowntree based it on form not reputation.

The lack of a second row on the bench is a big call for this game.
I suspect that Coombes may be looked at as the reserve second row, but the bench containing JOD, Kendellan, PP and Crowley leads me to believe that Munster are banking on Munster upping the tempo in the last quarter and Toulouse running out of steam.
Just because a post upsets you, that doesn’t mean that it is wrong. People have different views in all aspects of life, this is a key ingredient to an interesting conversation.

Munster off to a good start. Get a peno. Carbery hits the posts.

French teams seem to think they can ignore what the ref tells them. Fatal mistakes giving a string of pens to Munster and they capitalized well.

Scrum peno to Toulouse on the halfway. Line-out, rolling maul rumbles, ball goes out the line, try in the other corner. 7-7, 24 min.

HT: 10-10. I could see Toulouse winning this. Munster have had to work much harder for their points than the visitors.

What was I saying? Try Toulouse off a five yard line-out. 10-15, 43 min.

Similar five yard line-out x2 for Munster and they come away with nothing....

Munster fail to score from 2 5m lineouts, one with penalty advantage. Crucial stage of the game
