Sorry got the name wrong. I meant Conor Oliver. Apparently he might be leaving too.

If they can't afford to hold onto Conor Oliver what hope would they have for someone like Deegan.

Conor Oliver leaving would be a surprise. Arnold is leaving though.
Papali'i was worth a gamble but he's done nothing except get sent off.


I don't think anyone can be forced to leave but for their own careers I'd imagine players will want to go especially with fewer games. And the fewer games might also mean Connacht can focus more on quality over quantity.


Ulster are also looking for backrows and have more money and I can see one of the Munster 10s moving in the next 18 months as well as a few backs.

If they can't afford to hold onto Conor Oliver what hope would they have for someone like Deegan.

Conor Oliver has been excellent this season and filled the gap left by Colby Fainga'a's departure. Together with Prendergast and Boyle there is some real dynamism in the back row. Regardless of the Deegan/Penny discussion, I would be upset to see Oliver leave.

Connacht should've won this. Tigers bench scrum impact has been a big factor but key errors from Carty x2 and TOH turned momentum too.
