Re: Ulster 2021/22
The tactic from Ulster has to be two high temp games back to back against a French side that is unlikely to experience that in the their club championship.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.
Re: Ulster 2021/22
Looks like Toulouse have unearthed another Skelton in Meafou. 23 stone 6'8 Aussie second row.

Re: Ulster 2021/22
Peno given away by Marty Moore for changing his bind, thereby leading to scrum collapse. Ramos gets it. HT 13-7

Re: Ulster 2021/22
Barnes may have given Toulouse a red card but he’s letting them away with all sorts at the breakdown, some really crazy decisions and non decisions.
Obviously a big opportunity with a man advantage but I think finishing within a score would be a good result at this stage.

Ulster, against 14 men, should be ahead if they would only use their maul more. Mind you, the Toulouse pack weight in at 1033 kg. Toulouse right winger gone after 10 mins and Balacoune playing really well.

Re: Ulster 2021/22
Gan dabht, but Dan McFarland must be pulling his hair out at his team's repeated failure to convert visits to the opposition 22 into points. Ulster could be winning this...LeRouxIsPHat wrote: ↑April 9th, 2022, 4:04 pm Barnes may have given Toulouse a red card but he’s letting them away with all sorts at the breakdown, some really crazy decisions and non decisions.

Re: Ulster 2021/22
There is an absolute load of space wide if Ulster can manage to get Toulouse forwards onto one side of the pitch and get a bit of momentum.
Lowery/Hume/Balacoune are dangerous every time they're on the ball when they're wide.

Re: Ulster 2021/22
Loads of talk about Toulouse getting tired, but Ulster's front 5 looks shattered, Moore & AOC in particular.
Re: Ulster 2021/22
Barnes gave DuPont 2 seconds of slowing the ball down on the line there.

All me feeds are down. The BBC scores tracker is telling me 13-19. That sounds good....

26-13 now, intercept from Balacoune.
Treadwell has been excellent since he came in. No idea how O'Connor started ahead of him.
Ulster have a chance to tag on another few scores here and really make Toulouse pay.

Go Ulster!
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Brilliant from Baloucoune, his reading of the game has been outstanding today.

Feeds back up. 13-26!!!! SUFTUM!!!
Re: Ulster 2021/22
Typically you'd say another try puts them out of site but over 80 minutes (next week)20pts is doable.
Felt Toulouse were forcing that a bit, great hat trick for Ballybob
