Re: Ulster 2021/22
Bradley Roberts called into the Welsh squad replacing Ken Owens
I have Bumbleflex
Re: Ulster 2021/22
Wow! Arguably their 9 best playersYesterday, hooker Owens joined a lengthy Welsh injury list, which includes Louis Rees-Zammit, George North, Leigh Halfpenny, Liam Williams, Dan Biggar, Josh Navidi, Justin Tipuric, and Taulupe Faletau.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

David Tweed has died in a motorcycle accident.

I sincerely hope there is not a minute's silence for that man at the next Ireland or Ulster games.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish
Re: Ulster 2021/22
I think it would be crass not to acknowledge a former player because he had different political views. Where would that lead to?

I'd imagine that this means that when Roberts' current contract is up, then he'll be heftied out the door

Think you need to read up a bit more on him

Re: Ulster 2021/22
I didn't spot that with the other news. You'd expect he doesn't have much of an Ulster future but you'd have to think it's the right move for him.Dave Cahill wrote: ↑October 29th, 2021, 8:13 pm I'd imagine that this means that when Roberts' current contract is up, then he'll be heftied out the door
He's had a few decent games for Ulster and he looked to have potential. Most guys never get an opportunity like that, never close to anything like it.
You'd have to think that he'd take his chances for the rest of his career and that a cap might cost him in Ireland but would be good for his profile in everywhere else especially Wales.
Re: Ulster 2021/22
is he any good? pretty much nailed on signing for Cardiff is the rumorneill_m wrote: ↑October 30th, 2021, 11:34 amRumours are Cardiff.Dave Cahill wrote: ↑October 29th, 2021, 8:13 pm I'd imagine that this means that when Roberts' current contract is up, then he'll be heftied out the door
Re: Ulster 2021/22
Great hair anyway. He's a busy all-action hooker who's fun to watch.
Probably not that powerful against the really big teams. Seemed to do well any time I saw him for Ulster but I haven't seen him play since last season.

Decent rugby player but a pretty unpleasant human being which lead to a number of legal convictions. I didn't see anything go up on the Ulster social media which says everything really.
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Piece on Tweed by his daughter, with a word of caution before opening. It's upsetting. I hadn't known the details.

It is to be sure, but it took some guts on her part to come out and speak publicly about what he did to her - and others, it seems. Forget him. Admire her.Oldschoolsocks wrote: ↑November 8th, 2021, 3:57 pmThanks for posting.
