I think there’s something in Balcoucoune’s game that the Irish coaches don’t like but I can’t figure out what it is. Technically he’s a poor tackler but he very rarely actually gets found out. He was poor in the air in one game recently but to me that was a one off and it’s actually a strength of his.
Strange one for him not have got more games in green IMO. Granted there haven’t been that many opportunities either.
He had a bad run with injuries, ripped his hammer off the bone and then did an ankle on his return to training that cost him the best part of a year
Even still I would have thought he was a shoo in to basically oust Earls from the Ireland setup once he got the hat trick against Toulouse. I'm beyond surprised that Keith got the central contract though selfishly I'm happy about it.
Winger must be the most competitive position in Ireland these days.
This is like a greatest hits of all the issues people have been saying Munster have for the last few seasons. Early days but an incredibly poor performance so far.
Munster knock on; Ulster gather the ball, pass it to McCloskey who kicks it dead from his own 22. I thought it was a bit harsh to call advantage over and give Munster the scrum
The number of Munster players who run in needlessly to the handbags for the first Ulster try is joy itself. You can pinpoint the exact moment Chris Farrell realises he's made a monumental f%~k-up.
Munster can still win this game if they go up the guts.
Not great camera angles but I didn't think there was enough there to overturn a 'no try' on the field for the 3rd Ulster try. Munster have been poor but I think Ulster have gotten the best of the officials.
That's why you need to be getting a home QF I suppose.

It’s hard to see past Ulster for this game.
Looking at comments about them, Ulster are by far the best team, they have many more internationals and they play better rugby.
Munster in contrast are a team full of inexperienced players and devoid of a clear game plan.
If published opinions defined results then it will be Ulster by 46
This was a great shout in fairness. Credit where credit is due.

Players look checked out. The amount of knock ons. I think we'll see a bit of a changing of the guard next season. Pretty poor stuff. Ulster look great.
