Hé offloads more than McCloskey and he’s offloaded a few problems there already. He’ll be fun. I think he’ll be the third Fijian to play for Ulster, at least that I know of. Can anybody get the other 2?
The winger that hated the weather and went to Montpelier and and that big prop they had in the noughties.

There was also a prop who only played a couple of times back in the late 90s - can't remember his name but I remember hearing someone joking about fast food outlets going out of business after he left!

Super signing! Very few players have been as enjoyable to watch over the last six or seven years. I think he's a good fit for the type of rugby McFarland has Ulster playing.

What a super signing for Ulster, he is a joy to watch.
He has better hands than most backs.

Ulster are only a few players away from having a very good match day 23, and this signing will strengthen that even more.

If they can back this up with the acquisition of a ball carrying 8. Then they would be a real force.
Just because a post upsets you, that doesn’t mean that it is wrong. People have different views in all aspects of life, this is a key ingredient to an interesting conversation.

Ulster are rumoured to be after a lad called Tom Willis who plays for Wasps. He's another Backrower so I am wondering if the Nakawara signing negates this or is he I.E.? He's being capped at England U20's but not above. Anyone heard anything?

Nice! How would people rate him? What position in the backrow does he play?

Busy week at Ulster re contract renewals. Luke Marshall, Alan O'Connor, Robert Baloucoune, John Andrew, Kieran Treadwell, Andrew Warwick, Rob Herring, Ian Madigan, Sam Carter, Michael Lowry, Aaron Sexton and Nathan Doak (last 2 upgraded to senior contract) renewed until summer 2023.

Nakarawa signed on 1 year deal along 1 year renewals for Craig Gilroy, Marcus Rea and Angus Curtis.

Happy that Luke Marshall got a contract, while I rate him as a player he's being plagued by injuries the last few seasons. You could easily see him go with the talent in the backs coming through.

Abysmal first 40 minutes for Ulster at home to Ospreys. Playing like a team who expected the opposition to just roll over. Absolutely blessed to be level at HT. If they were playing anyone decent they'd be well behind.

HT 7-7

Have to say, I really despair at the abysmal officiating in some games and this one is a prime example. I'd say the players have no clue what's going on or what they're allowed to do. As for the offside line....

I'd say you'd really despair if you were an Ospreys fan. Gallagher is killing them.

Very true. He's been bad for both sides but he's screwing Ospreys over.
