Was anyone else disappointed in how Dupont performed? He got a couple of tries running great cheat lines, but when Munster were coming hard at them in the middle third of the game I thought that he (and Ntamack) were very poor. Their halfbacks gave toulouse very little direction and managed their possession quite poorly

OMFG, I haven't visited MFans in a long time. You certainly love to laud it over them, you're a troll of the highest order.

that was a cracking game of rugby and two very good sides, Coombs is going to be a force at this level and for Ireland at test level

del Allende looked very good with ball in hand and although they lost Munster can be proud of the way they played

Tolouse are very dangerous with ball in hand and they will score trys vs anyone but they can also be very loose and this always gives the opposition a chance

Their half backs don't give them that much structure (Schmidt would lose his mind with them) but they don't half produce some big moments in games.

I have a feeling they will come a cropper in a knock out game but they are imo the most entertaining side in Europe to watch right now and I hope they make it to the final

Yes I agree. He must be a nightmare to play outside. I thought he was pretty average in the 6 Nations against us.
Flash ahhhh ahhh, he'll save every one of us

Don’t be too disheartened we’re not trying to beat defenders or make line breaks, our whole game is box kicking, winning a turnover penalty, kicking to touch, maul and pick and jam and one out runners until we get a penalty. If we were throwing it around loads then these would be more concerning but it’s not a thing we really try to do.
got this from mf.
The poster is completely accurate... but surely that's a p1ss take??

Munster are facing a battle to keep hold of their highly-regarded senior coach Stephen Larkham who is being courted by the Waratahs in his native Australia.

The World Cup-winning Wallaby great signed a three-year contract when he arrived in Limerick in 2019, but could be tempted by a return home after two seasons as the underachieving Sydney-based franchise look for a replacement for ex-Reds supremo Rob Penney.

Is this any more than kite-flying by the Indo? Not much hard info coming out of Sydney. Anybody heard anything extra on this?

Well it would add context to his strange comments about recent games: he could be playing to media back home who won’t have watched the games.

It might not be a bad move. He gets out with his reputation intact. JvG gets a pass for another year. And they can blame it all on IRFU penny pinching.

Larkham and Rountree have been at odds with the Saffer bloc from day 1. He might well be p!ssed off with the situation.

Yeah, you'd forget he was U20 Slam winning team in 2007, and part of the 2014 and 2015 6 Nations wins under Joe. An honest pro, best of luck to him

Career suffered at the end due to being old!

He had a couple of great seasons for Munster and was a genuine and hard-working player for them even when he wasn't at his best.
