Re: Top14 19-20
The42s report on La Rochelle's hammering by Racing (49-0) is funny. It's Jono Gibbes team, let there be no doubt about that.
Previous articles refer to La Rochelle as ROGs team, y'know, when they're doing well.
Poor Jono.

Apparently the French teams are still interested in finishing off the 19-20 European fixtures and are pushing for 8 spots in a 24 team cup next time.

Re: Top14 19-20
In both TV land and the Rugby world, that's a phenomenal sponsorship deal and reflects the importance of rugby in the French psyche as well as the perception of the World Cup effect in 2023. Hopefully it acts as a benchmark for further Pro16 deal with SA teams. Given what's happened with Super Rugby & 6N sponsorship negotiations, this could be the new landmark.blockhead wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2021, 10:09 pm Top 14 officials in France have landed the jackpot for their league, securing a 17 per cent increase in the value of TV rights which will see them bank €113.6million per year for the four seasons from 2023/24 to 2026/2027 in a deal with Canal + totalling €454.4m.
