Clearly a poor attempt at an April fools joke.

Re: Al Kellock to referee Pro12 Final
It was less than 12 months ago.
It's surprising how many people have fallen for it. Not a bad attempt I thought- Glasgow usually do something April fool related. Last year Scotstoun was getting a mesh roof!

Re: Al Kellock to referee Pro12 Final
Its a pity that last years April 1st proposal wasn't implemented. Like the application of Tartan paint it could only have improved Scotstoon.
Warriors should actually be penalised by Pro 12 Board for the state of that pitch and the consequent impact on brand value of Pro12. No jest, as holders of Pro12 and in receipt of significant, unanticipated windfall last summer, Pro12 should have insisted on substantial rehabilitation / replacement of their pitch.
Rationalisation that it is the same for both teams is horses#%t. The surface makes skillful logic a lottery and rugby spectacle a total turn-off.
BTW, assume you heard the RTE announcement of Queen's 90th Birthday Honours List with Marty Morrissey getting Honorary Knighthood for service to Native Sport. Now, that's a surefire award.

The video was done in a very credible way. Not a bad effort I thought.
"This is breathless stuff.....it's on again. Contepomi out to Hickie,D'Arcy,Hickie.......................HICKIE FOR THE CORNER! THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He can't be any worse than some of the actual referees.

Such is the joke of a situation around refs in the Pro12, I initially fell for this!

I'd prefer him to Clancy.

He would certainly do as well or better than the performance in Aviva today
