Re: Muppets XV
what did Saunders do?
Dean Richards can coach the XV, EOS sent in a CV but wasnt considered, and Harryordinary's dad can run on to the pitch
can James Haskell be in there? he just has that English sneering officer class face that 100 years ago would be ordering a colonial village burnt because a native didn;t shine his shoes well enough

Don't think I ever heard about that! I remember hearing about him missing the photo alright, well deserving of a place in the team.Donny B. wrote:A bit of "drunky-fighty" as the Aussies refer to itLeRouxIsPHat wrote:What did JOC do?

plus Hore was canned by Hurricanes for figuring if he skipped the weights session on Wednesdays or something he could get a 2 day drinking binge in each week

Ryle Nugent can be on commentary with Hook, Austin Healy and Sirrrrr Cliiiiive on the panel. Conor George and Stephen Jones (the Sunday Times one) will be embedded with the panel to give us their unique insights.

Re: Muppets XV
I'll see your latter day team with a pre professional team
1.Colin Smart, prop who drank a bottle of aftershave at a post match dinner in Paris
2.Keith Murdoch, if you can find him
3.Kevin Yates, Bath prop who bit part of opponents ear off.
4.Willie Anderson, troubling times in Buenos Aires for the flag incident
5. Andy Haden, will the Welsh ever forget
6.John Jeffreys ..........Calcultta cup.
7.
8. Deano...........Calcutta Cup
9. William Web Ellis. Picking up the ball, what was he thinking ?
10.
11.
12.
13.
14.
15. Brian McKechnie. Kicked the points for Andy Haden. Most interestingly a double All Black, 3 years later he was on the receiving end when he was the batsman that Trevor Chappel bowled under arm to.

Only thing I can think is that he failed to find touch off a restart which led to Australia scoring a try in the 1991 World Cup QF. Now it was a mistake but not really enough to qualify him for this company.Leinster Exile wrote:So what did Rob Saunders actually do ?
Rob Saunders actually had one of the weirdest careers in rugby, even for the amateur days. He made his Ireland debut as captain at the age of 22 but was retired just three years later. Had a beautiful quick pass, which was in sharp contrast to the garbage his main rival Bradley used to spew around the place. Decision-making was suspect though. Apart from that infamous kick, he's probably most famous for running on in his debut punching himself in the torso (presumably to get himself used to contact - sports science has moved on somewhat since then!)
Re: Muppets XV
How deos Campese not get a spot on the wing for every word he's uttered since he's retired? Ali Williams for every haka that he's ever done deserves a spot in the pack and Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu deserves a place as media officer if he doesn't get a place in the centres.
Caveats apply as it is entirely possible that the information contained in the above post is either an attempt at a wind-up, an attempt at a joke or just plain wrong.

What about Neil Francis, didn't he give us the "ladyboy" tag?
