RIP. An absolute tragedy. In total agreement over a round of SUFTUM at the next game.

Words fail me. Just an utter tragedy. A fine player and a real prospect for further honours. Thoughts are with his mother and sister, friends and the Ulster squad.

Only hearing this now, a tragedy. Regardless of prominence or past achievment it is a terrible loss for anyone so young to die!

know its only a small gesture on our (Leinster fans) part, and one of many we can make, but after his minutes silence in the RDS next weekend lets make sure we give him the biggest round of applause/cheer/send off/show of appreciation we can
Was thinking something similar myself - perhaps we could 'Stand Up For The Ulster Man'
Wonderful suggestions which I took the liberty of sharing on Munsterfans, I didn't think you'd mind.

Saw that on MF alright Rich and agree wholeheartedly.

The best and frankly only high profile way we can show the Spence Family and our Ulster counterparts that our thoughts are with them is for a thundering chorus of SUFTUM to ring around the RDS and Thomond Park on Saturday.
The sport that unites Catholic, Protestant and dissenter has had its day of days. Pity anybody who can't enjoy it. Some day.

A fine young man. What an incredible tradegy. His mother, what must she be going through now. RIP Nevin.

It is hard to comprehend how the Spence family must feel trying to deal with such tragic events.

A terrible loss - rip

I'd usually be quite dismissive of incidents like this, brushing it off as something that just happens. This one though has stuck in my head. Its so very sad.

My thoughts are with the family, friends and Supporters.

This is very sad. Nevin Spence was an exciting talent and I had often been calling for him to get more exposure in our test XV. But it is only a game, and it is a tragic time for his family. My heart goes out to his mother and sister, may the Spences rest in peace.

A terribly sad story. I can't imagine how sad this must be for a family. My thoughts are with them, their community and the Ulster team too.

I think the idea of a round of SUFTUM at the RDS on saturday is a really good one.

Emma was released from hospital last night, she is fine, well as fine as you could be under the circumstances.
Our match this weekend has been postponed.
