Saying that a team who need to sign a player in a particular position should do better at developing players is like saying a team should try to score more points than their opposition if they want to win a game.

They are just meaningless, throw away comments designed purely to WUM and/or make yet another tireless dig at Munster.
Even the top teams make signings, sometimes multiple signings in a single season, and sometimes continuous, consecutive signings in the same positions.
And if the top teams, with the worlds best development pathways, in the most highly populated location in their country need to make these signings, then it surely can’t be a surprise that a team like Munster would also need to make signings?
Just because a post upsets you, that doesn’t mean that it is wrong. People have different views in all aspects of life, this is a key ingredient to an interesting conversation.

Yes. Munster should win more games too. It comes down to coaching. Put the work in, get better results.

Realistically Munster have been at or near the upper bound in terms of their ability to make signings for some time. So, make the hard choices for long term benefit and win, or short term to have something to blame when you lose.

In any case it's moot. Humphreys has spoken. A NIQ loosehead (and hooker) is off the board.
