J Lowe well strapped up in the warmup, moving free enough though.

Tv3 introduction stating probably no one knows as much as Ronan O'Gara knows more about getting over the line in European Cup Finals. Leo Cullen and Johnny Sexton come to mind.

Was switching to CH4 anyway.

Crazy how long penalty advantages go on for now, La Rochelle made 30 metres there and went one side of the pitch and back to the other before Barnes brought it back

Typical French TV production - damn all shots of the LAR neckroll, they got penalised for, shown.

A failed film directors idea of how to watch rugby.

We looked fierce nervous. Moves not flowing at all.

JGP's passing hasn't been good and we're throwing lots of balls behind guys.

Maul has been excellent and is a serious weapon.

Looks like we sacrificed some precision for being better at the scrum and maul.

Scrum hasn't been as bad as it could have been. Barnes correctly penalising LAR twice, once for the LH going to ground because they're at an angle, and once for the early shove. Both of which they've been doing all game.

Would like to see more from Doris/Conan.

Both have been quiet in attack.

Our backrow needs to threaten more at ruck too, very passive meaning they've loads of possession.

Hopefully La Rochelle's penalty count comes back to haunt them.

Yep, one or two more early ones in second half will surely lead to a card. Barnes has had a few words with their players too.

They have limited our back row but at the expense of 7 penalties. Barnes has already Skelton, west and the sub back row for a neck roll so LAR may be close to a yellow if we can get our hand on the ball in good territory.

They’ve been pretty cynical in their 22. Happy to give away penalties to prevent tries. Even their free at the scrum at the end there was deliberate to prevent the starter play.
