H Cup Final Marseille 2022

I decided to impulsively get flights and I am due to land in Carcassonne at 10am on the day of the match. There appears to be no trains available and I am waiting for a response from SNCF for confirmation. Is anyone else in a similar situation or know of anybody renting a car and driving with a spare slot?

I have switched my return flight to the Aer Lingus one on Saturday night. So I now have a transferable Flixbus voucher for €20 that might be of some use to someone heading over.

It has now dropped to €190. Bit late for me because I already booked, but it allowed me to upgrade to Plus for free because of the drop in prices.

You can fly out to Paris Beauvais with Ryanair for €94.99 - Fri night 19:35 - 22:50
Get early TGV train from Paris to Marseille at 6.00am on Sat - approx €40
You could prob skip a room in paris on friday night and stay drinking lol

or you can fly via Lisbon with tapair on Friday morning at 10.25 for €130.00
Given its Monday of the finals weekend and the general prices.. they arent the worst prices for a last minute trip

Still toying with the idea of the Friday evening AL flight to Paris and the 6am TGV. Unfortunately accommodation anywhere near Gare de Lyon is very expensive. What are people doing? Staying near airport and early morning taxi?
