I got in the Ibis Budget at the Airport last week for about seventy euros. Handy enough direct bus into/out of town for a ten spot as well, only takes twenty minute or so.

Same spot, good deal, am getting a bus directly there from Nimes on the Saturday morning, the great thing about it is that you can check in at noon so I’ll be able to get across from Nimes check in and head into town.

Approx, as of Tues night, it is still possible to do return travel to Marseille, Fri - Sun for €300pp, Acomm €100pp + Tickets

May have already been mentioned but there is a Dub-Lyon (Aer Lingus - €393) at 6am on Sat morning (arrive 9.05am) and then there are train options down to Marseille.

I found a €400 Aer Lingus voucher that I got last time I booked a flight to Marseille, had totally forgotten about it. Really took the edge off travelling to this one. Without that, it would have been really hard to justify the spend.

Lads if it helps there are right now cheap Ryanair flights out of Edinburgh to Nimes on Friday 27th and returning on Monday 30th which may be doable for some - Edinburgh pretty easy to get to from Dublin at a low cost. Nimes rent a car and it's only an hour or so to Marseille and Nimes has loads of cheap hotels or you can stay further afield - Avignon, Arles etc, all very nice.

Marseille Hotels a nightmare unless you have one booked already.

Same day with a ticket if anyone still needs options. With the price of flights etc it doesn't seem that bad but of course it's same day

Can also select an option without tickets.
